Just a quick update.

We went to the doctor yesterday and his now weights 10 pounds 3 ounces and is 22 inches long (he was 6 pounds 11 ounces and 19.75 inches when he was born). This is a great relief to a worried mother who never thinks he eats enough.

He also got 2 shots and some other medicine at the doctor so yesterday evening was rough. He has a slight fever and was very fussy. It was the loudest we have ever heard him cry. A good thing about last night…I feed him at 10:00 pm and he woke up at 8:00 this morning. I can get used to this!

 More 2 month updates and pictures are on the blog from earlier this week.

We have recently had some visitors to San Antonio inlcuding, Jodee, Audrey and Donnie, and Beth and Brian.

Jodee came to visit while she supported the Midland Christian boys basketball team who won the state championship in their division. We got to watch a lot of basketball games that weekend. It was good seeing Jodee. Caleb enjoyed watching the games in her arms.

Caleb and I got a chance to visit my sister in Kyle. We visited her new home and Caleb slept in the arms of his aunt. He really enjoyed being there!

Well, on the weekend Audrey and Donnie were here we were going to go to the State basketball tournament, but couldn’t because a) we had a radiator leak in my car and b) the tickets were no longer available. Oh well, Chad and Donnie got to go hit some golf balls and then we went to an outdoor mall in the area because the weather has been so nice.

This past weekend Beth and Brian came into town and got to stay with us. We haven’t seen them in such a long time. We ate a Chester’s Burger with them as well as with Caleb, Reagan anad Abigail. If you haven’t eaten there it is definitely worth it. The burgers are great. I remember going as a kid and just loving it!

Caleb is growing (as to be expected) and doing well.  His 2 month check up is this week. More shots, weight and length check, etc. He is such a good baby.

I’m still reading the Truth War by John MacArthur. It is a good book! It has opened my eyes to the history of how people distort the truth. It hasn’t changed at all today.  I will post more on the book when I am finished.
