3 more weeks and counting
I am now 3 weeks away from the due date of our little baby! We are getting anxious and excited for his arrival. Everything is going very smoothly, the worst sign of pregnancy…leg cramps at night and difficulty bending over to pick things off the floor or putting on shoes!! It has been a blessing!
A few weekends ago my wonderful sister planned a surprise baby shower. Some childhood friends were able to attend and we had a blast playing some fun games and some gross ones (guess what’s in the diaper!).

Last weekend we had another baby shower in Robert Lee. While we were there, Chad went hunting. Our freezer will be stocked with deer meat very soon! For a few hours we also helped Slade and Laura move into their new home . It is very nice and cozy!!!

It was also my birthday last weekend. Chad gave me a zoom lens for the camera, dinner at the yummy Cheesecake factory, and fresh donuts from Dunkin Donuts (another delicious and rare treat). He is the most wonderful husband. He is always so thoughtful.
This weekend Chad’s dad and Debi came to visit. We always enjoy time with family and friends, not to mention we got to eat at the yummy cheesecake factory again.
In between the eventful weekends we have both been working. Patients are always surprised (and probably confused) as I walk into their rooms after they have had a stroke, total knee or hip replacement, etc. and tell them I am going to help them get out of bed and walk the day of surgery as my belly protrudes over my toes (I think they work harder for me since I can’t really lift them!!!).
