Not so Long Awaited
Although this post may be long awaited, I am afraid to say it will not be much. I can’t really explain why we have not written any interesting updates, thoughts, or news. It seems that the past 2 months have flown by with weekends full of driving and socializing.
We have gone to a wedding of a friend that I grew up with in Seguin. We drove through severe storms to visit friends in Houston. We have gone to Midland to celebrate a 60th wedding anniversary. We have played several matches of tennis with Slade, Laura, and even Travis (who plays much better than we all do). We’ve gone to Robert Lee several times as well. It seems that every weekend has been full of traveling and running around. We are looking forward to a more reserved summer where we do little traveling (gas is too expensive and weekends zoom by when you are always away).
We have some plans for the summer, including: visits from some of my college friends (Beth and Lori), possibly a visit from my sister, and maybe another trip to Midland to help Jodee move.
We also hope to squeeze some bike riding into the summer. Another reason to be outdoors enjoying the sunshine and warm weather (not to mention a more fun way to exercise).
I hope this is enough for now. I don’t have any fun pictures (I have neglected to take any lately….more to come soon).
